Rememberance Sunday 2009 Sidmouth, Devon

The picture above left was taken at Alma Bridge.

To the right above is a little "artistic" picture taken because I like the

composition. The picture on the right below, was taken from opposite the Lifeboat Station. All were taken on 13th October 2009.

The light sometimes has a "magical" quality about it.

Rather like the carnival may have to do, the Sidmouth Folk Festival had to re-invent itself in order to survive. It was reduced in size and moved back into the town area. It is now concentrated on numerous small venues that are within easy walking distance of each other and are not too large to appear over commercialised. This has resulted in a far more "folksy" feel to the festival.
